This one hit me because it’s something I practice every day.
Whether I’m loading materials at Home Depot, on a job site, meeting clients, or running from one responsibility to the next — I show up intentionally.
Not because every day feels easy. Not because life has been easy. But because I want to honor the woman I’m becoming.
Recently, people have stopped me just to say, “You look beautiful,” ask what I do, or simply want to know who I am… and I realized something. It wasn’t really about the clothes. It was the energy. The confidence. The presence.
For so long, I fought just to survive. Now I’m learning to show up and take up space.
So yes… dress how you want to be addressed. Show up for yourself, your vision, and the life you’re building — even when you’re loading trucks and picking up supplies in the Home Depot parking lot.
I said yes to building Steadfast Construction — even through uncertainty, setbacks, long nights, and moments that tested me mentally and emotionally. And while strength helps you endure, knowledge is what teaches you how to keep building when things don’t go as planned.
Every challenge shaped character.
Every setback built resilience.
Every lesson added foundation.
So if you’re in a season where things feel hard, keep going. Let the process refine you, not break you. The vision was given to you for a reason. Stay grounded, stay focused, and remain steadfast. 🛠️✨

Still reflecting on a few weeks ago at the launch, where I had the honor of speaking and connecting with so many incredible individuals 🤍

Last night’s Leadership Dinner & Conference hosted by Business of WE was truly inspiring. ✨
There is something powerful about being in a room filled with like-minded women who are building, leading, and supporting one another. One message that stayed with me was this: your “box” should be filled with your talents, interests, and capabilities—but the space outside that box is your network. And that network is what helps keep you stable and moving forward.
That resonated deeply. Growth isn’t just about what we can do on our own; it’s also about the community we build around us. I’m intentionally building connections with people who can support me where I may lack, and together we rise.
