Testing a Turn the Keys Escape Room Prop here at the shop. Players have to find all the keys and then activate all 4 locks to solve the puzzle. This puzzle uses are EscapeKeeper controller so you can add custom audio for each key, solution audio, and there are tons more customization options. Keys can't be removed once they are turned, so the only way to solve is to have all the keys in and turned.

Swiping Through the Wall Electric Prop. Not recommended for holding coffee cups, but highly recommend when you want to create the illusion of a zombie or creature arm swiping through the wall!

Did you know one of the best ways to add vibration effects to your haunt is with a transducer? A transducer is a specialized kind of speaker that uses low frequency audio signals to create amazing vibrations. Here we're testing one of our Transducer and Amp kits before shipping it out. No bananas were harmed in the filming of this video. Ok, that's a lie. The banana was slightly bruised.
In the video you can see the BooTunes audio player which is supplying the low frequency audio tracks to the amplifier. There is an ambient track and then a triggered track (the "heart beat" effect that plays after the button is pressed). This demonstrates one major advantage of using a transducer system over another type of vi****or: the ability to create subtle and varied effects. Our kit includes a digital sound library with 99 different Low Frequency Effect tracks that can create pretty much any style of vibration, from low ominous rumbling, to all out earthquake!

We've seen this effect a lot in movies and TV shows. The document tells you how to achieve the effect of lights in a hallway (or other space) shutting off one by one. Has anyone done something like this in your haunt?

Product spotlight time! We released a ton of new prop mechanisms this year, and this is one of my favorites. This motorized electric mech is designed to mount behind your haunt wall and create the appearance of a hand grasping from behind the wall to grab your patrons! The animation is really lifelike and creepy, and since it's motorized there's no compressed air required. We sell the mech without a hand so you can attach you own and make a zombie, werewolf, maniac or whatever else you can imagine; but we also have an option to add a hand when you order. I'd love to see a whole hallway filled with these that people have to walk through!
