Hi! I’m Liz. I grew up on the south coast of Massachusetts and have been living and working in the Boston area for over ten years. I was a band kid in high school before I got into photography, so once I picked up a camera I couldn’t help bringing it along to rehearsals and performances. I loved capturing all the raw emotion during a live show and learning how to anticipate the big moments along with the more subtle ones. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion fueled by my love of live music (and a masochistic relationship with challenging lighting). Here are some of my favorite performance photos from over the years.

I’ve been lucky enough to work with the incredible folks at Comfort Kitchen in Dorchester since not long after they opened, to capture the energy of the people, the food, and the space that they’ve built. They focus heavily on history, culture, and narratives, and yet bring something completely modern and exciting to the table.
