This Song Pick is PREPARED by KOMPLETE. This track is straight motivation for the youth! Dope beats, real bars, and powerful collab with Bertrand McKinney, HOLY K1D & Mookie U-Nik. It’s Wednesday which means another installment of Song Picks. This week’s pick is Yesh by Rua Young. "Yesh" by Rua Young is a unique and refreshing track that blends the energy of K-Pop with the message and creativity of Christian Hip Hop. The result is a sound that feels modern, engaging, and incredibly relevant for today's generation.
Beyond the production, the song carries a powerful reminder that Jesus is still the answer in a world full of distractions and uncertainty. Rua Young does a great job using a style that connects with students while keeping the focus on Christ.
If you're looking for something different from the typical Christian music playlist, "Yesh" is definitely worth checking out. 🔥🎶
Song Picks drops every Wednesday with a new song to add to your playlist.
Verse of the day: MATTHEW 5:4
God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

A little later than usual but here is this week’s Song Picks. The song this week is Idols by Stephen Stanley. “Idols” by Stephen Stanley is such a powerful reminder of how easy it is to put other things before God without even realizing it. The lyrics are honest, relatable, and hit especially hard for students and young adults navigating distractions and pressure every day. Strong message + great sound. Definitely worth a listen. 🔥
Tune in every Wednesday for a new Song Picks.

It’s Wednesday, you know what that means! It’s time for Song Picks! This week’s Song Pick is an oldie but goodie. From their debut album 20 years ago, we have All Around Me by Flyleaf. This song was an anthem in my (Pastor James) youth days and is one I still rock out to this day. All Around Me is one of those songs that hits hard emotionally while still carrying a message that connects deeply with students dealing with loneliness, identity, fear, and the need for something real. Even though it came out in the 2000s, it still resonates with youth groups because of its raw honesty and intensity. If you have never heard it, give it a listen. You won’t regret it.

Had the amazing opportunity to be at the Mamie Martin Kindergarten graduation this morning and watch some of our very own Assembly Kids graduate from Kindergarten! If you have a student that is a part of Assembly Kids that graduated Kindergarten or a student that is a part of Assembly Youth that graduated from high school, drop their picture in the comments so we can celebrate them on such a big accomplishment!

We started a new series in both Kids and Youth and this week we talked about David and Goliath. This has got me thinking: have you ever felt like you're staring at a giant? For 40 days, the Israelite army listened to Goliath's taunts, and fear grew stronger. They focused on the giant, and their confidence grew weaker.
But David saw something different. While everyone else saw the giant, David was the first to see God. That's the difference!
When your focus stays on the giant, fear grows. But when your focus stays on God, faith grows. God is preparing you right now for the battles you face, whether it's pressure, anxiety, temptation, or struggles at home.
Don't lose heart! Block out the noise of fear and doubt. Listen to God's voice. He has prepared you, and with Him on your side, you can win the battle. Keep your eyes on Jesus!

It’s Wednesday which means we have another Song Pick. Mrs. Makayla’s Song Pick is Heal For You by Lloyd Nicks. "Heal For You" by Lloyd Nicks is one of those songs that feels personal from the very beginning. The lyrics hit on pain, healing, and surrender in a way that a lot of students can genuinely connect with, especially in seasons where life feels heavy or confusing.
The production is smooth and emotional without feeling overdone, and the message keeps pointing back to God as the source of restoration instead of just motivation. It's the kind of song that works really well during altar moments, prayer time, or reflective worship sets.
Overall, it's honest, relatable, and carries a strong reminder that God still heals hearts, minds, and broken situations.
Giving you new music to listen to every Wednesday.

New addition to the page: Song Picks. We will give you songs that our team is listening to on repeat that glorify God and gives you new music to jam to. The first ever song pick is by Pastor James and it’s “Glory Down”, the latest song by Tommy Royale and KB. “Glory Down” hits hard with energy and purpose. The beat is hype enough for a youth night, but the message still stays centered on giving God the glory. KB brings his usual fast, bold flow, while Tommy Royale adds a unique international vibe that makes the track stand out.
It’s the kind of song that makes you want to turn it up and live it out—reminding you that everything you do should point back to God. Overall: 🔥, meaningful, and easy to connect with.
If you haven’t heard it yet, go give it a listen. New Song Picks to drop every Wednesday.
