Brookhaven Rotary Club
Brookhaven Rotary is a volunteer organization that helps local and international communities. Our group is made up of local business leaders.
Brookhaven Rotary is a great club that is 35+ members strong. While smaller than other clubs, we pack quite a punch with the our service projects' success and the size also keeps the fellowship strong.

This all-volunteer group is working hard to develop the paved path which will unite the city of Atlanta with cities through to Gwinnett County.
Brookhaven Rotary Club members also volunteer at clean-up days along the path. We're committed to supporting all aspects of life in Brookhaven.

Thank you, Brookhaven Farmers Market shoppers!👏👏
On Saturday morning, you brought a great load of food items for Suthers Center Pantry. On the first Suthers Second Saturday Food Drive, you helped us fill 5 cases of canned goods and fresh vegetables.
Our club will be back at the Farmers Market holding another Food Drive on August 8.

SUPPORT SUTHERS FOOD PANTRY!
Beginning June 13th, the Brookhaven Rotary Club will host a Suthers 2nd Saturday booth at the Brookhaven Farmer’s Market during select months in 2026. We invite the Brookhaven community and farmer’s market shoppers to bring items for the pantry.
Food pantries like Brookhaven’s Suthers Center for Christian Outreach serve as a lifeline for many families in our community. For Suthers Pantry, the struggle to stay adequately stocked with shelf-stable food items is an ongoing challenge.
Suggested items (no glass containers, please): fresh fruit, canned fruit & vegetables, Vienna sausage or other canned meats, peanut butter, chewy granola bars, peanut butter crackers, pasta or rice, pasta sauce in plastic jars, instant oatmeal and grits, small boxes of cereal.

Sharing...
As an open-intake county shelter, we take in every animal that comes through our doors — including livestock. While we’re fortunate to have rescue partners who can often step in quickly for farm animals, these particular sheep and goats are part of an active court case and cannot be placed at this time.
Right now, we urgently need hay and halters as we care for these animals and prepare them for eventual foster placement, which may take some time. Our Amazon wishlist has been recently updated with the specific supplies we need most and is linked below:
https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/QVJRZLUXWGHS?ref_=wl_share
Please note: hay is our greatest and most immediate need, but unfortunately it cannot be purchased through Amazon.
We are incredibly grateful for the support our community continues to show us and the animals in our care. Whether they have hooves or paws, eat hay or kibble, every single animal deserves safety, compassion, and a chance — and because of your support, we’re able to provide that care.
If you’re unable to donate these specific items, monetary donations of any kind are always appreciated and help us continue saying “yes” to every animal that needs us.
Edit to add: Due to the condition of these animals, our vet recommends a mix of 50% alfalfa, and 50% grass hay (either orchard or timothy). Thank you in advance!

‼️ For our May 6 club meeting, we're excited to welcome Rough Draft Atlanta Owner/Publisher Keith Pepper. ‼️
Five years ago, Pepper purchased the Reporter newspaper group and set out to keep printed media relevant. Each month, nearly one million Metro Atlantans of all ages look to Rough Draft newspaper, web, newsletters, and social media for up-to-date information.
"Our goal is to give you a mix of the news you need (local government, public safety) and the stories you crave (food, arts, real estate), and five years into this local media adventure, I’m really proud that we are hitting that mark," said Pepper.
We invite you to join us and Keith Pepper
