Today, May 1st, I am opening bids on 2 gift certificates for a knife of your choice. The money raised will be going to help 2 young ladies from Shiloh Baptist Church, Sontag, Mississippi in summer mission and camp counselor opportunities. The auction will be open until the end of may. Bids can be submitted to [email protected] or [email protected].

Got some good forge time in today. Started a long blade, and filet knife and started a rail road spike spatula. If it turns out good, I may start selling them. Stay tuned for more pictures to come.

It has been a while since my last post. Since my last post, I have added a nice piece of equipment to enhance my forge.

Kitchen knife ready to go. Blade is 1095. The handle is a combination of black walnut, curly maple and epoxy resin. I used my bottom flat grinder wheel to texture the blade then I blued it and with a 220 belt ground off the surface and the dark is the blue solution in the texture.
