Check out these updates from some of our team yesterday!

Managing Editor Mackane Vogel was in St. Louis for the Ag Media Summit this week, which included a tour at the ADM grain facility where they learned how they load their barges for grain hauling.

Meanwhile a group of us toured in Sussex, Wis., at Quad to get an inside look at their operations and how our very own publications make their way through the printer. Pictured together: Emma Kjos, Katie Yi, McKinnon Murray, Ashley Wolfe, James Anewenter-Cano, Hayden Lessiter, Marisela Barrutia, Alex Angelov, Christopher Nielsen, Jenna Upchurch, Kendra Downing, Mike Lessiter, Kim Schmidt and Billy Keenan.

In an LM first, Intern Billy Keenan was in the spotlight for a bell ringing this week. Not only did Billy bring in a first-time advertiser for the Sept/Oct Shortline Legends Hall of Fame issue of Farm Equipment, but he also demonstrated the value of taking the tools, research and support provided by the rest of the team and turning them into a successful outcome.

It's a great reminder that our biggest wins often come from collaboration. Editorial uncovered the opportunity. Art created a compelling visual to support the conversation. Sales built the relationship and closed the business.

Outstanding work by everyone involvedโ€”and a special congratulations to Billy for making the most of the opportunity and earning a well-deserved bell ring!
