Only 6 Fridays before Christmas. If you have nothing to do today and feel like shopping for stocking stuffers or teacher gifts stop by and see these eccec alumni at the Elk Lodge on Springdale. You can help support the Waukesha Youth Football and Cheerleading as well.

Just a friendly reminder to set your clocks back before you go to bed to night. Here's to hoping you actually get that extra hour of sleep.

Today should have been the first day of a new school year. Praying for all our past students and all the teachers as everyone enters this new school year in new places.

I sure do miss all the kids.

Saying goodbye to the kids we’ve watched grow from infants is one of the hardest parts of being a childcare worker.

People don’t often talk about how deep our bonds are with these children or how much we truly love and care for them as if they were our own. I’ll be honest, this is the part of the journey I struggle with the most. My heart aches, but I know they’ll go on to do amazing things.

To the parents: thank you for trusting us with your babies and allowing us to be part of your community. It’s been a privilege to see them learn, laugh, play, and grow.

We’ll never forget them.🥺💛

Our road here has ended and we are on to new adventures. Let’s spread the love and light of Jesus wherever our roads take us next.

While our time together has come to an end we are thankful for the opportunity to serve so many children and their families over the past 50 years. We pray that friendships formed are ones that last and that more than anything each child knows God is good and Jesus loves them very much.

Let's stay connected to one another the best we can. May God direct each of our paths and may we shine the light of Jesus whereever we go.
