Let's pray for our newly elected DS as he begins the transition into this new position.

There is something about having a physical copy of the scriptures with us as we hear the word preached on Sunday. Even though this is not as prevalent as it used to be and there is absolutely nothing wrong with digital reading I want to encourage you to bring you bible with you this Sunday. In fact if you have time engage with the scripture for tomorrow Before you come Matthew 6:25-34…read it through the first time,then read a 2nd time slower allowing words a phrases to jump off the page and meditate on them….read a 3rd time slower and ask God how this applies to your life right now, Then pray and ask God to speak to you through the word during the preaching…I know God wants to do something special in your life through this message.

Most of life is lived without fully knowing what comes next.

Graduation.
Parenting.
Career changes.
Medical reports.
Loss.
Leadership.
Faith.

We often wait to feel completely ready before we move forward.
But Jesus reminds us:
“Take heart.”
Not because life is easy.
Not because fear disappears.
But because we are not abandoned.
You do not have to feel fearless to move forward faithfully.

What if courage isn't about feeling fearless, but moving forward anyway?

Most of us are carrying something right now. Uncertainty. Anxiety. Questions we don't have answers to yet.

This Sunday, we're looking at a moment where Jesus speaks directly into that — not with easy answers, but with something better: His presence.
"Take heart. I have overcome the world." — John 16:33
