Milford friends! Wow, this place is amazing! This was the last stop for my daughter and me on the way home from Chicago, and it was jammin!  We ordered our stuff to go, but the place was packed. I was disappointed with the fried ribs, not gonna lie. But their flatbread was absolutely delicious! If I’m ever in the area again, I’m going to have a seat at that amazing bar! 

Have you heard of Freddy’s? A fast food chain that’s big in the Midwest. Actually not bad, especially those fried cheese curds! 

Stopped in Toledo, Ohio last night. If you’re a fan of M*A*S*H like I am, then you know it’s the hometown of Max Klinger! Had to stop at the original !

Heading west to bring Ava home from school! Last night’s stop was Syracuse, New York. Great food and drink just steps away from my hotel. Saw this one on DDD.

Sometimes, I just want franks and beans. I’m a New York boy. I go Nathan‘s. 

Poke on a plate. Tuna, marinated with soy, hoisin, sesame, oil, and rice vinegar. Garden scallions and cilantro. Cucumber. Avocado. Peanuts and sesame seeds. And dollops of an aïoli I made with mayo and chili crisp. Pickled ginger on the side.

Last night‘s cooking: shrimp scampi with a ton of veggies from the garden. U8 shrimp from Kyler's Catch Seafood Market and Kitchen

Out on a first date with my new girlfriend, she said to the waiter, "I'll pass on the scalloped potatoes, because I don't really like seafood."
