Here is a Westfall high viscosity static mixer that I just posted on the company site!

High Viscosity Static Mixer
It uses two 2800 model mixing plates. This particular Westfall item is being used with very high temperature (225 degrees) and very viscous (10,000cp) fluids.

Here is a special static mixer that will mix sulfuric acid with water. It is PTFE --the same stuff that is on your nonstick pans. The injection quill is made of Kynar and this mixer will last for decades!

We have been at the WEFTEC (Water Environment Federation) conference and trade show in New Orleans. Yes, lots of work met many interesting people and saw many fascinating new technologies. Also jambalaya, catfish, shrimp etc! in the evenings! These photos show a close up of our booth, the large steel 2800 mixer, and a view down the mile-long main aisle of the Morial Convention center.

Enjoyed a visit from Kazusa Higashide who is and engineer with JMS Inc. - 株式会社ジェイエムエス and Westfall's representative in Japan. He also toured Alden Research Laboratory, Inc. where many of Westfall's products have been perfected. And, of course, we all enjoyed some lobster!

The profile picture is Bob at the IFAT trade show in Munich. And here is a Westall mixer that, if made by the other companies, would have been a huge 20 or more foot long monster. Look how easy it is to install this large wafer style mixer.
