Feliz Dia de Portugal! Happy Day of Portugal!

June 10 is Day of Portugal, celebrated by Portuguese communities all around the world. This year we're proud to partner with Rhode Island Day of Portugal, who have created a beautiful display in the foyer windows by our Hope Street entrance featuring information and items from Portugal and Portuguese communities. The display will be up through the end of June, so stop by to look at the beautiful Viana scarves, fado sheet music, and more!

We also have a collection of books in Portuguese, located by the window in the Main Floor Reading Room.

Will you be celebrating Day of Portugal? Let us know how in the comments!

Are you or someone you know a high schooler, middle schooler, or rising middle schooler who's looking for leadership opportunities and a way to make a difference in Bristol? Rogers Free Library's Teen Advisory Board relaunches TODAY!

TAB is much more than just making suggestions about books and programs - there are also opportunities to lead volunteer initiatives and projects at the library, help with library marketing and promotion, provide feedback on suggested programming and Teen Space initiatives, and generally help the library work for you, your peers, and the whole town.

We'll be in the Teen Space today, June 8, at 6PM. There will be free pizza! Registration is preferred, but not required; go to our calendar to register.

Future TAB dates/times to be determined at this meeting!
