Finished the front line fencing at Rowdy SpurS Ranch. I think Sam would be pleased. Thanks to his sister, Sarah, we are preserving the ranch as Sam's legacy, to be passed down in the family. Maybe one of the grandchildren will be interested in horse rescue and will make it an operating ranch again!

Spent the day yesterday fencing at Rowdy SpurS Ranch with friends of Sam's. Beautiful day but we all got sunburned!

The Rescue will be shuttered as the owner, Sam Simmons, passed away 11/8/2019. We thank you for your support over the years.

Haven't posted in quite a while, but we are making some progress on being able to rescue more horses... we just purchased 84 acres in northern colorado and as soon as the snow goes away, we will begin building stables and other facilities for the horses.

It has been a slow process, but we are close to finishing our transition from Arizona to becoming a legit rescue here in Colorado. Next we need to get all the legal paperwork submitted so we can operate legally here in Colorado... so look forward to seeing our progress in future posts and hopefully by the end of summer we will be back to rescuing horses and other livestock!
