My daughter never did anything halfway.

Not her laughter.
Not her kindness.
Not the way she loved people.

She showed up fully.

For friends who were hurting.
For people who felt invisible.
For anyone who needed softness in a hard moment.

That was just who she was.

And sometimes I sit with this grief
and realize something beautiful underneath it—

I got to witness a truly extraordinary soul
up close.

I got to raise her.
Love her.
Learn from her.

Because even as her mother,
there were moments
my daughter taught me how to be better too.

So yes,
the grief is deep.

But so is the pride.

And I carry them together now.
Every day.
