This weekend, Nova Jane, our pest patroller, found herself on a bit of an adventure. She crawled into the back of a box truck at the farm without anyone knowing, and ended up going for a ride. When the truck was opened, she darted out and disappeared. Miles from home and scared. Luckily we have a very specific recall for her. I drove to where she was last seen and after about 10 minutes of calling her, she popped up, meowing. She’s back home now, safe and sound at the rescue, back on pest patrol. We hope she learned her lesson and won’t be jumping into strangers’ vehicles again anytime soon! 😅
