The attention to detail required to match older brickwork is one of those things most people don't notice right away… and that's exactly the point. When it's done well, the addition feels like it's always been part of the home.

We pay close attention to the sand content in the original mortar so the texture blends seamlessly, and we go even further by studying how the mortar joints were originally struck. One of our favorite things about Pittsburgh home renovation projects is helping homeowners see new possibilities within the homes they already love.
For this Mt. Lebanon renovation, we completely reimagined the main level layout by switching the locations of the kitchen and dining room. The result? One large, open-concept space that feels brighter, more functional, and better suited for modern family life.
In addition to creating a stunning new kitchen, this Mt Lebanon remodeling project included a new powder room and updated flooring throughout the entire main level, giving the home a cohesive and refreshed look.
One of our favorite details is the custom cabinet door profile, which was intentionally designed to complement the home's existing stair bannister detail. It's these thoughtful touches that help a renovation feel like it has always belonged.
