Today I officially had to close the doors to my salon, something I never imagined I would have to say so soon. This was not a part of the plan, and to be honest, my heart is absolutely broken. On the 10th of this month I would have been celebrating one full year of being open, one year of building something I poured my entire heart into. Instead, today, on the 8th, I packed up the last of my things and said goodbye to a space that meant so much to me.

Opening my own salon was a dream I worked incredibly hard for. It represented so much more than just a place to do hair — it was a place where I grew, where I built relationships, where I laughed with clients who became friends, and where I truly felt proud of what I created. Every appointment, every conversation, every person who walked through that door helped make that little space so special.

Because of unexpected circumstances and needing to focus on my health and my baby, I had to make the very difficult decision to close for now. It was not something I ever wanted, but sometimes life asks us to pause and take a different path for a while.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single client who supported me, trusted me with their hair, recommended me, cheered me on, and stood by me during this journey. Your support meant more to me than I could ever fully put into words. You helped make my dream a reality, even if it was for a shorter time than I had hoped.

I also want to say a very special thank you to Zach for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to step out on my own and make this dream come true. That belief in me meant everything.

While this chapter is closing, I truly hope it isn’t the end of the story. My plan is to take this time, focus on my baby and maternity leave, and hopefully relocate and reopen when life allows me to return. This may be a pause, but I’m holding onto hope that it isn’t a goodbye forever.

Thank you all for the love, encouragement, and support you’ve given me over this past year. I will always be grateful for each of you and the role you played in this dream of mine.

To my amazing clients,

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write. Due to unexpected pregnancy complications, my doctor has placed me on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. Because of this, I’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close my salon.

Please know this was not an easy choice. My clients mean everything to me, and I am so grateful for the love, trust, and support you’ve given me over the years. Right now, my focus has to be on my health and the safety of my baby.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for understanding, for your patience, and for the kindness you’ve already shown me. I will share updates as I’m able, and I truly hope to be back doing what I love when the time is right.
