Haitians Building Unity is a locally formed group that strives to strengthen Haitian American and Haitian immigrant communities through community collaborations. HBU focuses on advocacy, education, social services, leadership development, and the promotion of sustainable development. Our mission is to build the community's capacity to be an active agent for positive social change locally and aboard.

It is finally here! 2yrs ago Charlot Lucien and Anseye Pou Ayiti did a stupendous job presenting Haitians Building Unity - HBU's Night of Remembrance 2017: Our Story (Changing Ayiti's Narrative). We are grateful to have another opportunity to continue this dialogue. Wish they could be there, but they will be in spirit. Join us this Saturday January 26, 2019 at the University of Bridgeport as Our Story Continues for the 250 thousand plus lives lost during the 2010 Earthquake in Haiti. Will YOU be there?
