Bridgeport Rescue Mission

Last week, we had the joy of partnering with Roosevelt Elementary School for their Back to School Night, helping provide students and their families with back-to-school essentials, snacks, and more! 🎒✏️🍎

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community alongside the amazing team at buildOn, who brought a volunteer group to help make the evening possible. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a great night! ❤️

💙 Thank you to our friends at grid for their generous Homelessness Assistance Drive benefiting Bridgeport Rescue Mission!

Their team collected an incredible 417 essential items that will help bring comfort, dignity, and care to the men, women, and children we serve. We are so grateful for their support and for making a meaningful impact in our community.

Thank you, Avangrid! We loved seeing your team last week and look forward to welcoming you again soon. 😊🏠💙

Today, we were honored to welcome Senator Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox to Bridgeport Rescue Mission! 💙

After touring the Mission, she joined our residents for lunch, taking time to listen to their stories and connect with the people at the heart of our work. 🍽️❤️

Thank you, Senator, for visiting, listening, and sharing a meal with us! 🙏
