Just hung this little beauty, titled "Mother and Child". As I was dusting it off, hammering and squeezing some loose copper bits back on, and I really looked at the holes I had made in the copper...made me think of my relationship to my own mother...how we are challenged yet still bonded, the damage we have caused each other, the nails we have hammered in and those we have taken out...yet we still are deeply connected, we dust off and try to readjust, keeping things in place and letting go of what can't be fixed. I look at the active background, symbolizing for me lots of energy, some beautiful and some messed up. What a lovely, complex and challenging relationship...

Just a few pieces to look at. I only have two pearl necklaces with the large teardrop faceted rose quartz left.
