Inside Neptune. With the interiors clad in oak, a lively palette of color appears as accents in each room. Modest room sizes lend themselves to well proportioned furniture and an overall easy-living appeal. The owners art collection and input on finishes adds a personal touch throughout the house, making for a unique interior space filled with character. 📸 Glen Allsop

Introducing Neptune. Located on a long narrow ocean front lot, Neptune is a study in light, materials, and textures. Approached through a long winding drive, the house appears hovering over and hugging the landscape in and L-shaped configuration taking advantage of the afternoon sun. Large covered porches on both upper and lower levels allow for time spent in the open breeze. With durability and maintenance in mind, the house is clad in materials that will age gracefully overtime and provide warmth throughout the seasons. 📸 Glen Allsop

Norman Jaffe’s Hillman House originally commissioned in 1977 is back. A careful renovation celebrating one of Long Island’s iconic structures is enhanced by thoughtful additions, a waterside swimming pool, and a master plan of the site and landscape. The sculptural Integrity of the original house continues to inspire through the use of materials and the play of light. The additions play a supporting role and take their cues from the original structure. Together a complete experience is shaped around the beauty of the surrounding area. 📸 Glen Allsop

The northern light reflected off of the Long Island Sound is appreciated in our Sound House dining area.

Mass timber adds to the warmth and tranquility of the main sitting area of our Sound House . A play of light filters in from the south. Custom fireplace integrated with the TV on retractable arm next to it.

The play of light in the main hall changes throughout the day. The light reaches into the screened in porch to the north for a true indoor outdoor experience.

Warm teak and limestone in combination for this ocean front residence create a natural earthy backdrop for time spent outdoors.

Large overhangs provide shade and shelter while minimizing the effects of the suns rays on the house. The sky court above allows for open air living on a higher level.

Skycourt residence is named for the open air deck bridging the ocean to the south and the landscaped vistas to the north. The court provides privacy and the opportunity for both sun filled days and star watching nights. Light-filled interior spaces are detailed with craftmanship and airiness in mind. Warm wood combined with the permanence and beauty of natural stone grounds the house and acts as a backdrop for family living.
