We are proud to recognize several CTE students for earning industry-recognized certifications! Students successfully earned the Adobe Certified Professional credential in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro, demonstrating their proficiency in digital design, photo editing and video production. These certifications validate students' proficiency in digital tools widely used throughout the creative industry.

In addition, students earned the EVERFI Financial Literacy Certification, demonstrating their understanding of personal finance concepts and financial decision-making skills.

We would also like to congratulate student Jack Cardillo, who has been accepted into the LTV Internship Program this summer. Through the internship, Jack will have opportunities to develop his skills in filmmaking and broadcast television. He will also be trying out for the Sag Harbor Filmmaking Workshop in August.

The Bridgehampton Union Free School District has appointed Robert Hauser as its new Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations, effective July 1, 2026.

Mr. Hauser is no stranger to the Bridgehampton School community, as he previously served as both an Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations from 2010 to 2018 before becoming Superintendent, a position he held from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, he served as Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations for the Connetquot Central School District.

Throughout his previous tenure in Bridgehampton, Mr. Hauser played a key role in the district's building expansion project, helping guide the initiative through its successful completion in June of 2018.

“His extensive experience and longstanding connection to the school district make him a valuable addition to our administrative team, and we are grateful to have him back in Bridgehampton,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brigid Collins. “The district is excited to welcome Mr. Hauser back to the hive, and we look forward to his leadership in supporting the continued success of the Bridgehampton School.”

Mr. Hauser replaces Dr. Peter Daly, who has served as the district’s interim business administrator for the past several years.

In honor of National CPR & AED Awareness Week (June 1-7), students in Mrs. Pluta's middle and high school health classes are learning the lifesaving skills of CPR and AED use.

Through hands-on training, students are gaining the knowledge and confidence to respond in emergency situations. Those who are present for the entirety of the program will earn certification through the American Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR & AED course.

These valuable real-world skills help prepare our students to make a difference when every second counts. ❤️🩺

Giving back to the community is an important part of the National Honor Society experience at Bridgehampton School.

After fundraising efforts, members of the Bridgehampton National Honor Society recently donated $500 to the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center. The organization holds a special place in the hearts of many students, who have benefited from its programs and services throughout the years.

National Honor Society students presented the donation to Executive Director Bonnie Cannon and Executive Assistant to the Executive Director Jenna Solis.

The donation reflects our students' commitment to service and their appreciation for an organization that has had a positive impact on the Bridgehampton community. Congratulations to our NHS members for making a difference and giving back to a place that means so much to them!
