The Change

Change: (v.) To make or become different.
The Change: (n.) a group of believers determined to be different from the status quo.

Three years, many faces, tons of stories and endless praises. It has been absolutely awe-inspiring to watch God work in the lives of so many college students. I thank God for the opportunity to serve Him along side my peers. We have seen so much growth over the course of mission trips, Christian conferences and multiple discipleship programs. I have been blessed by this ministry, and I thank all of you for sharing in this experience!

Last night was Shayla's last Thursday before her mission trip to Guatemala. She will be spending her entire summer there in service. We are so proud of you, Shayla! We love you and will be praying for you! The Change won't be the same without you for the next three months!

Hey all you people! Just a reminder that we are collecting change for The Hope Center. The Hope Center is the positive alternative of planned parenthood. They help mothers and couples that are financially or situationally struggling. They supple diapers, bottles and formulas as well as advice and encouragement. They don't receive funding from the government and depend on volunteers and donations. Anything you can offer would be a significant contribution! See you Thursday at 8:00!

We had a great time at the Renovate Retreat! College students, rock walls, goofy games and worship! What more could someone want?

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. -2 John 1:6

Justin, Shayla, & Travis all became obedient to God when they were called to spend 9 weeks of their summer at the Mission Centers of Houston working with the inner city community. Last night we were able to hear their testimony & the great works done in that area. God calls us to be obedient & that's exactly what they did. Thank you so much for sharing last night guys!

We had an awesome time last night! Micah Tyler lead us in worship and shared his story with our group. God is great!
