One thing I saw everywhere was pickle flavored everything! Pickle chips, dill pickle flavored nuts, pickle jerky, spicy pickle, pickle garlic and cheddar, to even pickle flavored candy!
The most unique one was probably the dill pickle flavored fudge cookies and the pickle sour belts .

Must try Taiwan street food part 2!
But first, follow for more delicious eats and travel finds!
If you’re traveling to Taiwan, make sure to save this to your bucket list!
Inside the Raohe Night Market entrance, you’ll find one of my favorite Taiwan night market food stalls selling Fuzhou black pepper buns.
Known as 胡椒餅 (hu Jiao bing), these buns are stuffed with minced pork and scallions and topped with sesame seeds.
Then they’re baked in a clay oven.
The result? Piping hot, juicy peppery pork in a golden crisp bun.
Be warned, they come out VERY hot so be careful not to burn your tongue!
Each one is 65 NTD or about $2 USD. The line can get long but it moves fast, and it’s so worth it!
Would you add these pork pepper buns to your Taipei itinerary on your next Taiwan trip?

Must try iconic Taiwanese street food stall in Ximending, Taiwan.
Ay Chung Flour Rice Noodles!
Have you tried meesua before? This Taiwanese rice vermicelli is silky smooth and comes in a rich, thick broth made with bonito flakes.
It’s topped with soft chewy pork intestines, cilantro, and you can add chili, garlic, and vinegar.
It’s been Michelin recommended before, and the line can get long but it moves very fast!
To me, it’s delicious and comforting (and something I grew up eating), and I highly recommend trying it at least once if you travel to Taiwan!
They ONLY serve this dish, and your choice will be either a small or big bowl (65 NTD or 80 NTD as of last year ~$2 to less than $3 USD ).
Would you add this to your Taipei itinerary?
