In 2007 my daughter Katie was diagnosed with Leukemia and our world was forever changed. One of the first organizations that helped us out was the American Cancer Society.
Katie and I have participated in the Relay for Life , benefiting the American Cancer Society for many years now.
Our team, Ohana Aloha is a gold team, that means all the money that we raise specifically goes to pediatric cancer research and funding.
Hard to believe that we will be doing our 16th Relay this summer. And as we all know, we can’t do these types of events without FUNdraising. And I know what you’re thinking. Great now she’s going to ask us for money lol
I guarantee you I am not going to ask you for money. But what I am going to ask you to do is to clean out your closets and your drawers.
We are doing a soft goods fundraiser!
What is a soft, good fundraiser you may be asking. Well it’s a fundraiser, consisting of soft goods, like clothing, linens, towels, coats, and soft purses.
All you need to do is fill a kitchen size bag or two
(or more) with soft goods. When you have a few bags filled and ready to go, message me and I will come and pick them up.
It’s that easy ❤️

PS, if you have any old tennis shoes, throw them in an extra bag. One of my teammates is doing a tennis shoe recycle fundraiser.
