🦆 Fun fact: in French, canard means duck. But in English, it means something totally different!

This week, Meadow is teaching us that a canard is a false story or rumor — the kind that spreads fast but has no truth to it.

Example: "The rumor that the event was cancelled turned out to be a canard."

In a world full of misinformation, knowing this word is more useful than ever! 📰✅

Share this with your kids and see if they can spot a "canard" in everyday life. What false stories have you heard lately? Tell us in the comments! 👇

👻 This week on Learn with Meadow, we're diving into a word that sounds straight out of a ghost story — APPARITION!

An apparition is a ghost, spirit, or a sudden, mysterious vision. It's one of those words that sounds impressive and is so fun to say!

Example: "The children gasped as a glowing apparition floated past the window."

What a great word to add to your vocabulary toolkit! Whether you're a student, a parent helping with homework, or just someone who loves words — this one's for you. 🌟

Have your kids try using "apparition" in a sentence today and share it below! We'd love to see their creativity. 👇
