The slowing home purchase market has brought some exciting opportunities for my business. We have done LOADS of projects over the last six months, and I plan on posting photos and descriptions.
This was a wheelchair ramp for an elderly customer in Branson. I was glad to be able to help her with this and hope it serves her well. What do y'all think of it?

While inspecting a beautiful home, running the whirlpool bath tub and testing it for leaks, electrical, etc, I opened the access panel below the tub....snakes! Yikes!....I'll say it again...YIKES! I'm glad I found them and not the new home owner.

This is another magical inspection moment. This homeowner wanted to move the laundry area to the basement, but didn't want to spend the money to put in proper drainage for the clothes washer. Instead, they installed a sump pump to move the grey water. My client informed me that the listing price was over $300k and the owner "wasn't willing to negotiate". If you are buying a home, get it inspected.

This is such a bad idea. The homeowner in Branson, MO wanted to add a sink in his basement, but didn't want to spend the money on an ejector pump. A drainage basin was installed below the sink with a sump pump. The problems with this include high humidity levels (already a major issue in most basements), mold, and bacteria growth.
