Anglers Advantage Taneycomo Fishing Guide

It's the start of another season. 2025 is going to be a great year! We had excellent trout fishing all winter and spring is proving to be even better.

It's Spring Break in Branson - the water is running 24 hrs a day and it's a fantastic bite! We are catching anywhere between 40 and 70 trout a trip, including the kids. It's an easy predictable bite when they run the water this heavy and it looks like, with the rain we've been getting, they are going to keep up with the heavy water generation. The winter striper fishing was excellent, but ended a little earlier than we wanted. This past year saw a lot of big trout including a lot of trophy brown trout. We have already caught a lot of browns this year and some trophy rainbows also. It's going to be another great year on Taneycomo!

Spring break is off to a good start! The kids are catching trout every day and for a lot of them fishing is the highlight of thier vacation. Hats off to all the parents bringing their kids fishing on spring break.

The weather is warming up and so is the fishing! Charolette brought her family up to Branson for her birthday and got in some incredible trout fishing this afternoon. Her best rainbow went 19 inches followed by Brendan's big rainbow. Mike had the only brown trout of the evening.

Spring break is just around the corner! It's time to grab the family and shake off winter. We have openings for fishing trips in March.

Max caught this amazing brown on a #14 scud on 2lb line. One ounce short of 7 lbs almost 1 year to the day his brother Lincoln caught this brown also. These boys are amazing fisherman!!

The flood gates have been open for several weeks, it's been a great big trout bite!!

It's been a great week for big fish. Phil caught this 27 inch 8.27lb brown on a jig. It took a 1/2 mile in the heavy current to bring it up to the net. It's a big feat to land a fish that big on 4 # line and a small hook. Great job Phill !!

Welcome to the Randy and Andy show. These guys put a lot of hours every year into catching big trout with me and are incredibly good at hooking up with those big trophy trout and getting them to the net. Randy caught this 24.5 inch Brown. Great job guys!!

It's time for spring break, a great opportunity to get the kids outdoors and fishing. Neither cold nor rain were going to stop these girls from catching a bunch of trout. Great job girls!!

The girls have been winning all summer and into fall on big fish and numbers. Here is nice collection of what ladies have been doing recently.

It has continued to be a great summer for big trout!! Megan caught this 7.5lb rainbow on 2 # line on a spinning rod. It took us all the way across the lake twice and pulled out 30 plus yards of line. It's an incredible feat to land a trout that big on 2 lb line. Great job Megan!
