Had family Christmas a little early tonight, such is life when half the kids are away at college and everyone has a crazy schedule. Highlight of the night music wise is this sweet Joy Division poster. Raising these kids right!

For I'm spinning a couple bangers in completely different genres. I'm a big fan of modern artists paying tribute to the classics. Tha Alkaholiks and Hendrix Are You Experienced make a great pair on the tables! This OG Hendrix pressing is a staple in my collection. What other pairs are similar to these 2 with a newer artists paying homage to a great?

Someone kept this. At some point, someone decided it was best that this stay in their possession. Here's the crazy part, the gatefold sleeve is EX/NM-. It's dang near brand new. I just don't understand. Let's discuss.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I took the week off and rearranged and reorganized my home theatre and collection. One of those things that sounded good until I was 12 hours into it and still wasn't done. Do ya ever get yourself into situations like that? Anyway, I'm happy with how it turned out!

Where's all the people out there that have an unwavering opinion on who the greatest rock drummer of all time is? Keith Moon? Neil Peart? Bonham? Ginger Baker? Someone else?

Regardless, Ginger Baker was a mega machine on the kit and released some of the greatest Heavy Psych and Rock of all time. You wanna argue with that?
