To all those racing on the 4th: Good Luck. Hydrate, Be Safe, and Have Fun!

Who will be celebrating the 4th of July by running a race? If so, where will you be running? Some of us plan to be racing in Lakeland.

We will be racing at the Driscoll's Strawberry Classic in Temple Terrace this Saturday. Hope to see you out there! If so, Good Luck!

For those of us in the Tampa Bay region, we love Tampa International Airport. It is a World Class facilityt and makes the flying experience so easy.

With that being said, we just wanted to let you know that the Fishhawk Road Runners are ok if you come join use wearing Crocs and/or pajamas for one of our runs. Might be a challenge, but that is one of the things we love about running.

Any thoughts on the "interesting" debacle at the USATF Women's Half Marathon in Atlanta the past weekend? Can you think of a fair and equitable solution to this mess?

Now that Gasparilla has come and gone, what is your next race? Our club will be doing the Driscoll's Strawberry Classic on March 28th in Temple Terrace. There is a 10K, a 5K, and a 1 mile run. Oh, and plenty of Strawberries. See you out there!
