This case presented to us for bad breath. During phisical exam we diagnosed this pup with Gingival Hyperplasia.

Gingival hyperplasia in dogs is the abnormal overgrowth of gum tissue, most commonly seen in breeds like Boxers and Bulldogs but also could be caused by trauma or excessive chewing on hard toys. It traps bacteria, leading to chronic bad breath, pseudopockets, bleeding, and eventual tooth loss if left untreated.

We perfomed a Gingivectomy and proceed with oral antibiotics and pain medication. Patient went home same day and ate soft food like nothing had happend.

13 yo cat presented for not eating , during exam we saw an oral lesion. Recommeneded oral exam, xrays and dental cleaning under anesthesia. The answer to the problem was a fracture tooth and the roots were left behind causing more damage to the tissue around it. The roots were removed and kitty recovered smoothly.

This 13 yo yorkie came for a bad smell coming from the mouth ... well surprise!!! She had a whole other dog in there 😆 we discovered it under anesthesia in her oral exam before dental cleaning and full mouth xrays!
She did amazing and recovered like a champ🏆
