Equestrian Inc. Equine Rescue
We specialize in the rehabilitation, retraining, and rehoming of former Thoroughbred racehorses. Thoroughbred rehab and rehome.
Nova has been with us since January rehabbing a suspensory tear that healed perfectly. We are seeking a trail/pleasure job for him. Here is a glimpse of him in training with us! This guy has come a long way in a short time and is still looking for his special someone that is confident and physically capable of bringing along a green one. No bolting or bucking, but can be the “looky” type. He has a great disposition on the ground, turns out well with others, great in the stall. He is happiest in front shoes, but no other maintenance is needed. His adoption fee is 2,000.
Anyone interested, please send us a message to be sent an application!

We are so excited to announce that Humble Joe has been adopted and landed the jackpot with his new family! They adopted Angels Can Fly from us earlier this year and wanted another trail horse to add to their family. Joey is settling in perfectly. Happy Trails to Joey and Angel! ❤️🥰

Coronova-
This 16.1 6 year old gelding has successfully rehabbed a torn suspensory back in January 2026 and has started his retraining with a focus to gain confidence and strength. He can go English or western, but will need an experienced and confident partner to work with him. He wears front shoes and will likely be most comfortable staying that way. He is happy turned out in a smaller group of geldings.
Humble Joe-
The dream trail horse! He had 43 racing starts and earned over $160,000! Joey sustained a hind leg injury in his paddock in January 2026. He came to us in May to finish rehab and has been cleared by our veterinarian to start retraining. Due to the nature of his injury, Joey would be best suited for a light work, trail or a companion type home. He is beginner friendly, easy to handle, not spooky. He can be crabby in the stall during feed times but fine to be around in all other times of day. He turns out well in a small herd of geldings.
Faction Cat-
Faction Cat joined EI in November 2024 without any current injuries. He set the track record for the Turf Dash Stakes race at Tampa Bay Downs in 2020, and earned over $338,000 in 34 starts in his racing career. We refer to him as the modern day Secretariat. He has been in retraining with us and has proven to be best suited to a trail-type second career with an experienced partner. He can be a hotter ride with a place to be all the time. However, he loves exploring and is very confident in everything he does. He’s not the most affectionate in the barn, but he does offer sweet moments. He wears front shoes, recently had his hocks injected, and a nice chiropractic adjustment. This horse is no stranger to maintenance, so any future home for him must be willing to keep that up.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Engine 9 for responding when we needed help the most.
After our power outage left us without running water, our horses were in urgent need of fresh water. Without hesitation, the incredible crew from HCFR Engine 9 came to our rescue, ensuring every horse had the water they needed.
Moments like these remind us that community is everything. Your kindness, compassion, and willingness to help didn’t just provide water, it brought comfort and peace of mind during a stressful situation.
From all of us at Equestrian Inc., and from every grateful horse in our care, thank you for going above and beyond to serve our community. We are incredibly thankful for your prompt service and support. ❤️🐎🚒

Archie is a tv star thanks to Fox 13 Charley Belcher. We were visited by Charley and viewers were shown what a good job we do here for our off-the-track-thoroughbreds. DeeAnn explained how we rehab, retrain and rehome. This is our mission and we take it very seriously. Of course, Archie had to be part of the show. He was being fed carrots by Charley. Archie will eat literally anything as noted by his tummy. Anyway our sweet boy was on tv, hope you saw him.

Happy 4th of July from all the horses, dogs, cats and volunteers at Equestrian Inc.
We want to give a huge thank you to Jodi at Engravers Near Me, for creating our custom stall signs, halter nameplates, and identification tags.
These help us keep our horses properly identified and our facility organized while adding a professional touch to the barn. We appreciate your craftsmanship and support of our mission!
Superfight has become such a fun horse to produce in his restart. Gaining confidence and understanding of contact with every ride is helping his foundation immensely, which we strive to do with every horse we restart. Don’t let an old tendon deter you from this cute little dude. He’s got one of the best personalities in the barn, stellar on the ground, barefoot, turns out well with others. He’s the ultimate package!
