We had an incredible time connecting, learning, and checking out all the innovation at the FRSA convention last week. But let’s be honest... one of the best parts of the expo floor is the creativity that companies bring to their tables!

At Cardinal Roofing, we take our swag seriously. We collected, tested, and tasted it all, and the judges have reached a verdict.

Here are the winners of the 2026 Cardinal Swag Awards:

Best Overall Swag Item: Roofr - The Joe Joe can koozie.
We will be fighting over these in the office for weeks. Nothing better for that cold diet coke!

Best Booth Snack: This is a tie for All Points Tile & Slate and . The Rice crispy treats ( not pictured because we ate them too fast) and polyglass branded cinnamon candy kept our team's energy alive!

Best Tshirt: Mission Metals Mfg . Great design and super soft. Don't worry Metal Maniacs, your shirts are always a crowd favorite!

Best Booth Design: Atlas , we loved seeing that Ford Bronco on the floor. Although it would look better with our Cardinal Logo on it!😜 Absolute eye candy on the convention floor. The plush gorilla is also a great addition to our office!

Best Booth Game / Entertainment: , once again. Your game host is amazing and keeps us coming back again and again. Thanks for bringing the fun and letting us release some competitive energy!

Huge shoutout to all the vendors and manufacturers who made this year’s FRSA so memorable. We appreciate the hard work (and the awesome gear) you poured into this event! Over the next few days, we’re taking you behind the scenes to show you who we are and how we work. In the roofing industry, building strong relationships is vital to staying on top of the newest and best products.

At Cardinal Roofing & Cardinal Building, our "why" has always been simple: we are here to help our community thrive. For over 30 years, our values haven't changed. We live here, we work here, and we believe in leaving every situation better than we found it.

Members of our team continue to invest in organizations that benefit Tampa Bay. This morning at the South Hillsborough Health Partnership, we listened to a presentation by therapist Stefanie Sherman regarding mental health, burnout, and the dangerous reality of social isolation.

The conversation hit incredibly close to home. We discussed how heavily isolation impacts our elderly neighbors, particularly in communities like Sun City, which tragically experiences an average of at least one su***de a month due to isolation.

Hearing this was a powerful reminder that looking out for our community goes far beyond fixing roofs or building homes. It’s about building human connection and being a safety net for the people who need it most.

We believe in using our platform and our marketing resources to actively support local people, local health partnerships, and local charities.
We plan to continue educating our community, offering honest advice, and advocating fiercely against anyone trying to defraud our seniors.
