‘The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.

When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Today the roof was started on Rock of Escape Church, Naminya, in Jinja Uganda! The framing on the roof was started last year but slowed down due to lack of funds. Now the work on the roof continues. The church is hoping to begin worshipping there now that a roof is on! Pray for Pastor Ivan Kagwa as he and the people of this church trust God for His provision.

Inmates at one of the prisons in Jinja, Uganda received a welcomed Christmas meal with meat, a special treat, on Christmas Day by Kelly Green Global. This has been a tradition for the last few years to try to help these prisoners have something special on this day.

Jesus said, in a parable in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me..."

As we do, we do as unto Him.
