I am sharing this podcast for those who have been dealing with the nightmare of cutting out drywall, dealing with insurance and contractors, and trying to piece their lives back together after the recent hurricanes.

It’s a Real Estate podcast I regularly listen to called “Hustle Humbly” ” they did an “ URGENT episode” for homeowners who are dealing with this nightmare right now.
All of their advice is based on their previous experience when their local area flooded back in 2016. They also have a contractor on the show who remediated several homes after they flooded who shares some good advice too.
I thought it may be helpful to people in our area get some insight from another community who has already been through a similar situation.

I have also personally been studying data on RE markets where flooding has happened. I feel it is my job to understand how this will affect our local market.
One question I know that is on some peoples minds is….
“if I ever want to move, will I ever be able to sell my home now?
If so, how will this affect my value?

I’m happy to have a “no strings attached” conversation (whether it’s now or in the future) if this is a concern of yours.
