Do you remember when hacky sacks and that game was a thing and all the kids played it. Well it’s having a comeback now it seems and I’ve jumped on the bandwagon to make some. It is listed in my Etsy shop and have already had orders. Just a simple one though that I make with cotton yarn. The yarns make them fun.

Defining Nexusknits in 2026

I just finished the first quarter of 2026 with my business and as I reflect on that, I am reflecting on what I am most interested in making for my business. Nexusknits to me has always been about building connections with a handmade item for family and home. Though as I think about what items best say that and have lately brought connections at least online, it’s been my home goods items....

I wanted to post here the latest update. The host company I have been using to host my website has announced that they will be shutting down as of march 23rd. That is goimagine. I am sad to hear that as they were the only marketplace for handmade sellers online out there that was dedicated as nonprofit and giving to children’s charities. But I know it is hard to compete on the internet. So, with that I am closing the nexusknits.com shop and for now going with my shop on Etsy where yo can still find all my items. Still under the nexusknits name. I am in the process of searching and deciding on another option for a stand alone. I will say that if you are on TikTok at all I do have a shop open there as well and will be adding more in the coming days.
