Carolyn and I want to wish you the happiest of holidays as we move into December. Our house is available for rent now as you can see from our calendar.
We have openings this weekend for the playoff game and we are much more reasonable than the local hotels. If you know anyone that is thinking about the game, let them know of our home availability. We would love to host them.
Bozeman has put up the lights downtown and looks festive. Come stay and shop and enjoy a meal out in any number of fine restaurants.
Wow, how life has changed across the world in the last months. We hope that your family is safe and healthy, and able to stay that way. Like other businesses, we have had cancellations and have given full refunds.
We have adopted a strict cleaning regimen that has been recommended by CDC and AirBnB. Although there was only a slight difference in what we had already been doing, we are changing some cleaning products to better insure our guests and cleaner’s safety.
We are hopeful that as people begin to travel you will once again think of us if you travel to Bozeman. In the meantime we hope you are doing well, and that you and family are healthy.

Here is what the Supermoon rise looked like from the front deck.
Ready for Spring!
While doing a little spring readiness work at Ranger’s Rest home we had to clear off the snow on front deck. There was two to four feet on it from a near record year. We had to break up the set up snow and then snow blow it off.

Our home rental in Bozeman has been recognized as a Super Host! The home itself is great, the location is perfect and the views make it grand. Most of all though is the great service that Anika gives our guests that has lead to this award.
You should come and stay! Bozeman has it all!
Things are booking up fast but we still have some availability in April!!! Come visit!
After the New Year I was able to spend a few days between renters at the house. The first morning there were two Bald Eagles in the Cottonwood tree across the street. I was able to see them from the living room window. They stayed for an hour but I didn't see when they finally left.
For several nights and in the mornings there was an owl out back in the nearby tree. I couldn't identify it as it left before daylight. It's so nice to have this wildlife in view and in earshot.
The house now has a brand new snowblower for renters use if there is a large snowfall while you visit. There is plenty of snow in the Montana Mountains so plan on skiing while here.
So much fresh powder!! Who needs a place to stay and ski the cold smoke?

I am in St John Virgin Islands, assisting with Hurricane relief with the National Park Service Incident Command Team. I arrived on October 14th and willl be staying till November 21. In a few days I'll change from Deputy Operations to Deputy Incident Commander. It is amazing the devistation here, but also the resiliance of the locals. Power just came on in Cruz Bay, about 8% of the town has power. Water is not drinkable yet. Bottled water is abundant though. It is a honor to help these American Citizens to get through this devastation to their island and the waters surrounding it. It is estimated that there are 180 boats displaced, damaged, sunk or on land in these islands. Those of you that have vacationed here would not recognize the hill sides that have been completely denuded of leaves. Slowly. every day, things are growing and moving towards normal. It will take years though.
