They’ll tell you about women finally letting go of stress, finding peace, and rediscovering strength they didn’t know they still had. And they’ll tell you something unexpected: the experience changed them, too.

Throughout the winter, fly tiers from across the country dedicate their time, talent, and heart to tying flies that are then distributed to nonprofits each spring. This year, many of our Casting for Recovery programs requested flies, helping equip women across the country as they experience healing, connection, and joy on the water.

Every fly carries a story, a generous spirit, and a reminder that this community shows up in the most meaningful ways.

The fishing world lost a legend with the passing of F***y Kreiger.
