Fun Fact: On this day in 1475, Michelangelo was born. One of his earliest commissioned pieces was the Pieta, located in St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.

I have never been able to get enough of it and it is definitely at the top of my list to eventually see in person. Below is a link to read a little about that man who created this and so many more well known works of art.
