"The Farmer's Angel" Sometimes I see angels in the clouds. An angel forms through the Heavenly clouds to say a prayer 🙏 for our farmers of the world. They provide the food that feeds the world 🌎 and are the stewards of the land. Amen.

"2021 Favorite Images" | Here are some of my faves from this year (and a couple from 2020). I spent most of my time shooting in Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone NP and in and around the Gallatin Valley near Bozeman, Montana. I made several trips to Teton Park just for the opportunity to see the Queen of Teton ... Grizzly 399 and her 4 Cubs. 2021 also provided an opportunity to view some new grizzly COY (cubs-of-year). Griz 863 a.k.a. Felicia is the daughter of Grizzly 399 and and still lives nearby. Felicia emerged from her den with 2 beautiful cubs this spring. The cubs have impressive markings as you can see in several of the photos. It looks like they are wearing fuzzy white scarves. Felicia and the grizzly cubs live high atop a mountain pass in Wyoming. My other favorite grizzly cub to arrive was in the Jenny Lake area. Grizzly Bear 962 spent most of the spring just north of Jenny Lake in Teton Park. My favorite image was of the little cub barely hangin' on to a what appeared to be a driftwood stump in the middle of a sage field as Momma Bear was close by keeping an eye on things. I spent several days with a young fox family. The kit fox were entertaining as they fumbled over one another with lots of play fighting. There were plenty of opportunities to capture bird images in the Gallatin Valley. Owls, geese and even a migration of sandhill cranes. Fall in Yellowstone provided an opportunity to capture an interesting sparring session between two bull elk who locked horns for awhile.

They give each other the evil eye before the sparring begins. The hint of alpenglow on the mountains provided an excellent background for this battle. Fall Rut 2021, Yellowstone National Park.
