The ORR project is making its way to the finish line. About 80% complete, the team is working hard on planting details, water feature install, fencing and dialing in pinpoint irrigation. Thanks to , and Waters Edge for going on this journey with us. You’re bringing experiences to life!

Long summer nights are just around the corner — even if this week’s snow tried to convince us otherwise — and the views of the Spanish Peaks from this patio are bound to be spectacular.

We’re looking forward to watching this landscape continue to fill in, evolve, and come to life throughout the growing season.

This project in Park City, Utah was completed a few years ago in collaboration with and . We partnered on hardscapes, motor court, green roof and landscape design. The views are spectacular from this Park City ski home!

This pocket park in downtown Bozeman was completed over a decade ago...yet it continues to bring us immense joy. Each spring we eagerly await the spring melt and watch as this pocket park comes to life once again.

It was a pleasure to work on the American Indian Hall at Montana State University over the last four years. We collaborated closely with members of Montana's American Indian community to develop a planting palette that reflects their deep connection to the land. The final phase of construction finished this past fall and we look forward to seeing this landscape continue to flourish and grow.

As the days stretch longer, our thoughts drift to summer—golden sunsets and evening walks on Peets Hill, one of Bozeman’s most cherished places.

Who’s ready for flow, air and grins as large as Big Sky Country? The Bikefill Park Master Plan has passed through the Parks advisory board and is scheduled for City Commission review and approval tonight. We are thrilled to be part of the 100% local team bringing this project to life. A HUGE thanks to the Bozeman residents who participated in record numbers to the online survey and showed up to give in-person feedback at several workshops. This plan is a reflection of your love and commitment to the place you live.

Design 5 is excited to introduce Ryan Holdorf as an Associate Principal in our Bozeman office. Ryan brings 22 years of large-scale project design and management experience to our creative process. Ryan, Troy and Jenny planted the seeds of a collaborative relationship in Grad School and it's a thrill to see that relationship bloom in a professional setting!

Outside of the office Ryan dedicates time to his beautiful wife Erin and rascal pup Nala. Give Ryan a wave if you see him running on the Foothills Trail or chowing down on a pop tart at Rockford Coffee.
