HAVEN
Haven has supported survivors of domestic violence and their families in Gallatin County since 1979. All services are free of charge and confidential.
Services include a 24-hour confidential crisis line, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, support groups, individual counseling, referrals and community education. Haven also engages in prevention education by teaching local middle and high school children about dating, healthy relationships and respect.

This partnership with and is about helping people build confidence, independence, and practical skills they can carry into their own homes and to a future career if they want it. For many people, especially those rebuilding after difficult circumstances, gaining hands-on experience with tools, repairs, and construction can be deeply empowering. Learning how to confidently tackle projects on their own can help reduce barriers, create new opportunities, and foster a stronger sense of self-reliance and possibility for the future.
Haven’s support and services are open to people of all genders and so is this training. We’re pleased to partner with these organizations and to spread the word about the scholarship opportunities. And we’re grateful these partners thought of us for this shed-building project for our campus!

Haven's community garden is already 🔥this year thanks to one of our volunteers taking charge and building us a food forest -- bushes and trees that will eventually produce fruit for everyone living at Haven!
Photos include rhubarb planting, and some of the new bushes and fruit trees. Many many thanks to everyone who volunteers their time in Haven's garden, on the support line, and in the community!
