My grandfather read the paper every day, as I’m sure a lot of people’s grandfathers did. The smell and feel of a newspaper transports me to the couch in his living room. We live in an age of pay walled online publications and ai bull s**t, so seeing something real like this come to life in our community is super inspiring. Good on y’all! Keep it up!

Today we’re quietly opening our third cafe in Bozeman. Call it a soft launch…but this weekend let’s do something super fun: Saturday and Sunday the first 25 cortados ordered are gonna be 100% on the house. Come check the new space out, get a fun lil drink, and hang out with us!

This cafe wouldn’t be possible without our friends at .co here in Bozeman. In spite of our growth, we’re still a really small operation. We have one roaster, one operator (me), two managers, and a team of baristas, bakers, and line cooks. I can’t imagine opening this third location without the help of the crew at Kiln!

At Roly-Poly we pride ourselves on breaking the mold, thinking outside the box, and innovating. We realize that just because you don’t have a fancy expensive coffee grinder at home, that doesn’t mean you don’t like really really good coffee. Guess who has a fancy expensive coffee grinder (we do). That’s why we’re proud to introduce the newest canned bean adjacent product to our shelves. This is the Half Pound Ground. We didn’t invent pre-ground coffee, we just put it in a tallboy beer can to make sure it stays fresh af until you’re ready to rip it. Now available in Roly-Poly cafes and on our website. Most of our coffees will be available soon, but right now we’re just starting with the heaviest hitter: our Daily Driver blend.

It’s been a minute since I posted some picture of the OG cafe, so this morning I wandered around with my camera in hand and fired off some shots. I love how much this space has evolved since we moved in almost five(!) years ago. Spring has been teasing us with nice warm weather followed by snow and rain, but pretty soon we’ll have more tables set up outside for soaking up the sunshine! New coffees should be arriving next week, so we’ll probably have some sneak peek single origins on drip as soon as we get them roasted and degassed. Hats are en route, shirts will get printed as soon as I get around to making some screens. We love this time of year, stop by one of our cafes and say howdy soon!
