Grieving in silence and processing in the shadows.
It’s in the moments of carrying the confusion and hope. It’s in the unraveling where no one else sees. Where the work happens from the inside out.
I recently found out something I didn’t expect to learn this year. I realized when I felt alone in a space I should have felt chosen I was as still growing and listening to my body. I was still tending to the deep ache love leaves behind. What I carried for too long was held faithfully on its own in the parts of me that never gave up. Even when I thought I had. This part of me kept me alive even during the storm of carrying my own heart through the breaking. I realized I was never truly alone. I was the one holding me all along.
