Urban Infill_Bon Ton District_Bozeman Montana

C. Kenyon House Addition and Restoration_Bozeman Montana.

Built in 1900 this Queen Anne home has been an integral part of Bozeman's history. The addition was carefully designed and planned to compliment, not imitate or detract from the original architecture.

Project Architect

Local Element Architects is a small firm located in Bozeman Montana that specializes in a wide range of projects ranging from high end residential to large commercial and development. We are undergoing stabilized growth and are looking for an Architect to join the team.

Job Description

-Responsible for Project management on both commercial and residential projects including but not limited to:
• Leading and coordinating consultants and teams
• Meeting schedules and budgets
• Coordination with planning and building departments
• Quality Control
-Responsible for all aspects of the production of high-quality construction documents.
-Responsible for the production and submittal of organized and concise planning submittals to the AHJ.
-Responsible for developing Designs and Technical Solutions
-Responsible for site visits and construction administration on varying types of projects. Candidate must be familiar and be willing to work with firm standards for varying types of projects.
-Ability to perform code analysis and reviews in accordance with the IBC, IRC, and IEBC.
-Ability to participate and create master planning documents and exhibits
-Ability to communicate effectively with clients while showing them the best customer service in the industry.
-Ability to create marketing documents and media

Requirements

• Architecture License or 8+ years of experience working directly in the field of architecture. Any additional construction experience is a bonus.
• Degree in Architecture
• Proficiency in the following software programs:
o Revit
o AutoCad
o Adobe Products
 Photoshop
 Acrobat
 In-Design is also a plus
o Sketchup
o Enscape
• Strong written, graphic, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead multiple projects
• Experience with all phases of project delivery and flexibility to deal with alternate delivery methods
• Positive attitude!
• Ability to work remote on occasion. Candidate will be required to work primarily in-office.
