I've been lucky enough to have spent most of my professional TV career right here in Southwest Montana.

I've been an anchor on Montana This Morning since 2011 but getting out and meeting people still the best part of my job.

The St. Labre singers and dancers providing joy during halftime of their games all weekend. Look close, mostly young people singing…and some littles dancing.

This is my vantage point. Can’t ask for a much better seat.

My home for the next couple days. I’m lucky enough to get to announce the Class-B Boys games for the NFHS Internet broadcast. If you look close, my chair is the 2nd from the right at the table along the near sideline.

Outdated technology has changed the way you get a fishing license for some people. I talked with FWP about the traditional ways...and the new Ambassador opportunities for those looking to catch the big one this season

Fees from these help maintain these locations around the state. It's our chance to make sure everyone can use them.

One of my favorite places in Southwest Montana is Missouri Headwaters State Park because of its rich history. That history includes Lewis & Clark, Sacagawea...and peoples for thousands of years before them. Now a little reminder of that rich history has been damaged.

Welcome to Firstbank Stadium on the Vanderbilt University campus. Tonight an FCS champion will be crowned.

The only exact replica of the Parthenon in existence…and it’s in a park in Nashville. Guess what? So am I. Here working for a couple days…will post some of my stories when I get a chance!!

“Tie One On”-15. So this is actually the last. As we move from Christmas towards New Year I think it’s important to do what Santa with a 6 string says: “Rock The Holidays” all of my friends! Thanks again to the former viewer who shared her husbands tie collection with us all those years ago. It’s been my pleasure to share them with you! The next time you see me on the TV it will be from the National Championship weekend in Nashville. Until then, Happy New Year to one and all!!

“Tie One On”-14: I always save this one for last. I consider The Grinch as a Christmas success story. A little kindest goes a long ways…even if your heart is three sizes too small. Merry Christmas to all and may this day bring you nothing but joy!!

“Tie One On”-12: It wouldn’t be a real road trip without a little drama. You know, flat tire, lock the keys in the car, reindeer plow you into a covered bridge….its happened to all of us. Here’s hoping Rudolph and crew take a little better approach tomorrow night….and here in Southwest Montana…rubber tires will work better than sleigh runners!!

“Tie One On”-12: More art than fashion. This another one of those ties I think is just plain beautiful. It conveys the holiday quietly. We are in the home stretch for Christmas. Be safe if you’re traveling this week!!
