It’s been a while since posting, thought everyone could use an update!

We’re wrapping up our current frame on the south side of Bozeman. Our winter weather gave us a run for our money trying to get dried in just in time for summer to arrive.
-
We’re finishing fascia’s for the roofers and then we’ll get going on wrapping this place with some Montana Timber Products shiplap siding.
-

Our timbers and knee braces are finally installed on the moment frame!
-
We can finish running rafters and start with our outlookers and sub fascia.
-
One step closer to having this roof system complete.
-

Valhalla Construction is looking for skilled laborers and carpenters. We are a Bozeman based company that preforms work in the Gallatin Valley and neighboring county’s. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, willing to work in a team environment. Although experience is preferred, it is not required as long as the individual is willing to learn. Pay is based on experience.

Requirements:

- Reliable Transportation

- Personal Tool Belt/Hand Tools

- Positive Attitude

- Pass a Background Check

Big step in the progress of this project. One of the most satisfying days in my opinion.

Still have to run LVL rafters over the great room next week but we are ready to finish sheathing and get this place dried in!

Only a few more weeks and we’ll begin setting windows and start siding!

Love this time of year! Always a great view in the mornings.

Things are coming along in Eagle Rock Reserve. Exterior walls are going up and it’s starting to look like a house.

We’re taking advantage of this clear weather we’ve had all week! It’s nice getting a little break from the snow.

Wrapped up the Deer Haven Ranch project early this week!
-
We came into this project and picked up where another framer had left off. That caused some challenges along the way as things were done incorrectly from the beginning.
-
It was a fun project with a great view! We’re just glad to finally get out of wind that comes with working in Paradise Valley!

It’s always fun to see some before and after pictures. And no we didn’t leave the house wrap unfinished. Pictures just happened to come first!

Great way to end the week before some time off for the Holidays!
-
Ran rafters this week and wrapped up the majority of exterior and roof sheathing.
-
Still running into certain problems from the previous framer here and there that hinder our productivity. But we should be free and clear of all previous problems here soon.

Monday doing what Monday’s do!
-
Started the morning off with trailer problems that led to replacing all the studs on one of the hubs.
-
After a few hour delay, we finally made it out to Paradise Valley to fix some corrections from a previous framer. It’s always hard picking up where someone else left off.
-
Good news is it’s a short week with Turkey Day and you can’t beat the view from the jobsite!

The glulam’s are up and joists are in!
-
After waiting for a few corrections in the moment frame, we finally got the glulam’s in which allowed us to run the rest of the joists.
-
We’ll sheath everything tomorrow getting the floor system wrapped up before moving to another project for a few weeks.

Happy 246th birthday to all our Marine brothers and sisters!

From tankers to framers, can’t thank the Marine Corps enough for all the lifelong friendships.
