Yancey County school teacher, Brian Hill, and Kyle Burnette, of Southern Drifter Outfitters, forged a deeper friendship as they worked closely to support their community after Hurricane Helene devastated the Blue Ridge area of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.

The recovery effort continues many months later, with countless lives and businesses still rebuilding. The guide community remains in need of help to get back on their feet—and you can make a difference.
