People always ask. Why do we focus so much on firearm safety?
Negligent discharge is usually come from two groups of people
1) first timers and inexperienced shooters
2) people who have been around FI****MS their entire life but get complacent.
The moment you stop respecting The firearm is the moment your life can change forever. There is no oops, I’m sorry, my bad etc… you are responsible for every round accident or not. Just like in the martial arts world you find some “instructors” that are not the best at what they claim to do, examples on
If you feel unsure or unsafe at any time just stop and remove yourself. As you can see multiple safety rules are being broken. Unless is this an example on what not to do!
Come train with us! We will teach you correctly! ****ms ****msinstructor
This is why we focus so much on gun safety and handling in our Concealed Weapons Class. If you don’t know how to handle a firearm correctly you probably should be touching it! Seek proper training! ****msafety

I really hope this person survived and didn't harm others.
Please get training.
Rules of fi****ms safety:
1. Always treat every firearm as if it's loaded. [Until you have verified for yourself that it is not loaded.]
2. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. [Never point the muzzle at anything you're not willing to destroy.]
3. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. [Squeezing the trigger is required to disassemble many striker fired pistols...refer back to rule #1 before disassembly, and rule #2 during. Redundancy of all rules mitigates risk].
4. Always know your target, its surroundings and what is beyond.

🇺🇸Guns aren’t toys. There are safety rules to protect us.
Too bad there aren’t any rules to protect us from idiots. 🙄

With one of my favorite clients We have been working for a little time now started from ground zero. The first target is a cold start. No warm up no instruction. The 2nd target is how we ended the lesson. 1% better each day. Come train with us! ****ms
My man hits all the points! I just wanted to add a reminder that you are responsible for every round fired despite if it ricochets off the ground and changes trajectory of the direction you’re shooting.
Posted • “They should’ve just shot him in the leg” I see this said or posted all the time and it shows the lack of understanding of what deadly force is. There’s no such thing as of safe shot and we have to understand in justified situations it’s about taking the best course of actions. Now this isn’t an exhaustive list but it highlights some key points of what goes into law enforcement using their fi****ms in the line of duty. Think before you shoot and GET YOUR MIND RIGHT! ****ms

People often fear what they don’t understand. They also find it easier to remain in their comfort zone and avoid branching out or testing new waters. I just want to take this time to give a special congratulations to & ! We have been friends for a few years and, every once in a while, we would ‘talk fi****ms’ (mostly lead by me in an attempt to get them to try it out). At first, it was a hard NO, but, I didn’t let this stop me. I was all in the game for a win! As time went on and we would ‘talk fi****ms’, they brought up their beliefs and concerns. We found the issues that arose to be valid concerns paired with misinformation. As an fi****ms instructor, I took the time to appreciate and help them process their concerns, clarify the misinformation, and provide additional correct information. As the talks progressed that strong No, transformed into a ‘Maybe?’. It was at this point I knew...it was only a matter of time. The ‘fi****ms talk’ continued and, FINALLY, they agreed to go try it out. Whether they liked it or not...this was a win! For someone to try out something new that might be scary or contradict their beliefs is a MAJOR step. Cue all the feels - fear, nervousness, uncertainty, etc. but I assured them I would be with them every step of the way in a safe, controlled environment. In my experience, first-timers become extremely nervous once a loaded firearm is in their hand..and we all know what it is capable of if done incorrectly! (Now THAT IS scary and anyone that says it’s not is lying!) Experienced shooters often forget how it felt when they started out. After the first shot was fired, that roller coaster of emotions took over, which was to be expected. By the end of their first range session, they ALREADY had a different outlook on fi****ms. On a very personal level they’d now conquered their fears, done something new, AND taken back the power of the unknown. THAT is the most important! ****ms ****mstraining
