Welcome to Kendra Bliss Beauty! I am a traveling makeup artist based in Lanham, MD. Feel free to exp Her passion for makeup artistry began in college.
Kendra Bliss is a self taught, freelance makeup artist from Lanham, MD. She loved to get her makeup done by professionals and friends and decided to educate herself. She learned immensely by observing and practicing on friends. In 2016, she started accepting clients and building her creative presence on social media. In such short time, her creativity has received recognition by celebrities, beaut
The best makeup is the kind you forget you have on.
That’s not a detail. On your wedding morning, that’s the whole thing.

She had already booked someone else.
By the time she found me, she’d lived through the version of the morning every bride is quietly afraid of — rushed, unsure, looking at her own reflection and not feeling like herself. Her words: ”a nightmare.” 😱
So when she saw the final look, she cried.
💍Night and day, she said.
💍A weight off my shoulders.
💍I’m radiant.
And the line I’ll never forget: ”It doesn’t even look like I have makeup on — but the eyes? Flawless.”🙌🏾💄💍
🤎 Here’s the truth I want every bride to hear: the core memory of your wedding doesn’t live in the budget line. It lives in how you felt that morning and how you look back at the photos forever. That’s the legacy.
The mistake I see most often is choosing your artist on price alone — until you sit in the chair of someone who treats your wedding like *the* day, not just another booking. Makeup is just makeup, until it isn’t.
You deserve to arrive at the altar at ease. Recognized. Yourself, enhanced.
I keep a selective bridal calendar — a small number of brides each year, so each morning gets the attention it deserves. If you’re planning a 2026 or 2027 wedding, tell me your date and let’s see if it’s still open. 🤍

Bridal makeup and the therapy room keep teaching me the same lesson: the work was never really about the face.
Both ask the same things of me:
✨ Listening first
✨ Making room for what she’s carried
✨ Turning trust into quiet confidence
✨ Honoring her vulnerability
✨ Holding space, never taking it personally
I get to sit with a woman and watch how she sees herself change — from our first meeting to standing there full of bliss and peace on her most beautiful day. Mostly I just get to remind her of a worth that was already hers.
This is the ministry in my craft. I love it here.
Brides, there is only one correct answer.

The bride who was afraid she wouldn’t look like herself.
I met Alexandra long before her wedding day. Her now-husband hired me for a date night over a year before they got engaged. It was her first time ever in a makeup chair — and she was terrified.
Swipe through to read what she said about each chapter we shared. In her own words.
Stay for the last slide — the line she ended her review with is the closing of my whole brand.
Save this for the bride in your group chat who’s also afraid she won’t look like herself on her wedding day.
DM BRIDE and I’ll send you the morning-of preparation Timeline I send every bride I work with.

She told me she wasn’t going to cry.
By the end of her morning, she was thanking me through her tears.
Zaire was afraid she wouldn’t look like herself. She’d had a difficult experience with a makeup artist before me — and she came in carrying that fear.
Then she looked in the mirror. “Look at my neck. Look at my eyes are popping. My lips are popping.” And the bride who said she wasn’t going to cry, cried anyway.
This is what believable beauty looks like. Skin-first. Still her. Elevated for the morning she earned.
DM the word BRIDE for the morning-of preparation Timeline I send every bride I work with.
Part two coming next week — what she told me about the artist before me, and what she learned.

Kendra
Bridal isn’t a portfolio business. It’s a listening business.
The listening starts before she’s ever told you her budget.
Listen for the language that diminishes the experience — “just a little makeup,” “something simple, nothing crazy,” “I don’t want a heavy beat.”
That’s not modesty. It’s a bride who hasn’t yet decided that her face is priority on her wedding day. And a lot of times, the women who don’t put their face as priority end up crying or end up dissatisfied — because things happen, and they realize that it’s the first thing people see when they look at them.
Listen for the language of a bride reading her morning correctly — “I want to feel calm.” “I want certainty.” “I want to look like myself.” “I want my partner to recognize me.”
That’s a bride who knows what the morning should feel like. She’s looking for the artist who can deliver it.
You don’t have to convince the right bride. You just have to recognize her.

Put some respect on your name.

Some brides will tell you in their first message that they’re the right fit. You just have to know what words to listen for.
Five words. That’s all it takes.
I run every bridal inquiry through this filter before I reply — and the brides who use these words are almost always the ones who book.

Then — when you’re ready to apply this framework to your own business — comment BLUEPRINT and I’ll send you the Get Booked Blueprint. The same framework that books me 4-figure brides monthly.
